Ingredients to make “MY” special BBQ
  • 1 cup of Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoon of honey
(Stir ingredients together n heat up the sauce)
Directions:
  1. Cut off any extra fat and membrane on the top and bottom of the ribs (but not too much, save some for the great flavor)
  2. Rub the rub on both sides of the ribs.
  3. Let the rub marinate for 1-2 hours (for maximum flavor, a day)
  4. Before you set your meat on the smoker, make sure the temperature is 190 degrees – 250 degrees
  5. Place the meat in the smoker (hint: make sure to soak your wood chips a day before you put them in a smoker)
  6. Every 30 mins – 1 hour check on the ribs to spray it with the pineapple spray.
  7. While the ribs are cooking, begin making the special BBQ sauce (heat it up)
  8. Cook for 3-5 hours
  9. You can tell the meat is done if the meat begins to pull back from the tips of the bones, exposing about 1/4" of bare bone.
  10. Apply BBQ sauce and let them sit in the smoker for another 5-10 minutes
  11. Remove ribs from smoker (be careful)
  12. Let the ribs sit for 30 minutes
  13. Enjoy your DELICIOUS ribs
