Donald Thompson BRISKET

INGREDIENTS

1\4 cup brown sugar
1\4 cup paprika
2 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice


THE RUB

3\4 cup of brown sugar
1\4 cup paprika
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne


THE BARBEQUE SAUCE

1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon black pepper

DIRECTIONS

1.Rinse the brisket under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Combine rub ingredients mix well.
3. Apply the rub to your meat and let it sit overnight.
4.Set up your grill or smoker.
5. Place 4-6 pieces of wood chips into the smoker box
6. Place meat on the smoker or grill fat side up.
7. Wait patiently for 4-6 hours
8. To check to see if your brisket is done use a thermometer the heat should be about 190 degrees F
