Smoked Honey-Glazed Baby Back Ribs

1) 2(2 1/ 4-to 2 ½-pound) racks baby back pork ribs
2) 5-tablespoon honey
3) 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
4) 1-tablespoon mild-flavored (light) molasses
5) 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
6) ¼ cup fresh orange juice
7) ¼ teaspoon salt
8) ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
9) Salt and freshly ground pepper

  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons kosher salt*
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
First cut off the membrane!!

To make marinade
In medium bowl, add honey, Dijon mustard, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, orange juice, salt and pepper. Whisk thoroughly to blend well.

To prepare ribs
Sprinkle rib racks on all sides with salt and pepper. Plate ribs in large resalable plastic bag, pour marinade over ribs, seal bag and turn bag over several times to coat ribs evenly.

To cook ribs
Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Brush grill with oil. Drain ribs; discard marinade. Grill ribs until browned and cooked to medium, about 10 minutes on each side. Cut racks into 4-rib sections or cut into individual ribs. Brush generously with marinade, plate and serve.165F

Barbeque Sauce
1) 1-cup honey
2) ¼ cup molasses
3) 3-tablespoon ketchup
4) 1/8-teaspoon ground cinnamon
5) ½ teaspoon paprika
6) 1/8-teaspoon ground ginger
7) 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
8) 1-tablespoon meat tenderizer
9) 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
10)¼ teaspoon minced garlic
11)¼ cup steak sauce
12)2 teaspoon prepared mustard
13)1 ½ cups brown sugar

Directions for Barbeque Sauce

In a medium bowl, stir together the honey, molasses, ketchup, cinnamon, paprika, ginger, seasoned salt, meat tenderizer, ground black pepper, salt, oregano, garlic, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and brown sugar until well blended.
